These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tokno, a service provided by Tokno AB ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully.
"Customer" means the parent or legal guardian who creates the account, purchases the subscription, and enters into this agreement with Tokno. A Customer must be at least 18 years old.
"Student" means a person invited by the Customer to use the learning service. A Student does not purchase the subscription and is not the contracting customer.
By creating a Customer account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Students must follow the parts of these Terms that apply to their use of Tokno.
Tokno is an AI tutor service that provides interactive learning experiences using artificial intelligence. Customers can create accounts and invite Students to participate.
The Customer is responsible for managing the account, providing accurate information, authorizing each Student's use of Tokno, and ensuring that each Student follows these Terms. A Student cannot independently enter into a subscription agreement with Tokno.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, puts another user at risk, or is used unlawfully.
Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right. Where there is a risk to a Student's safety, to other users, or of fraud or illegal content, we may act immediately.
If we close a paid subscription because of a breach, we refund the unused part of the current billing period, unless the account was used for fraud or unlawful activity. The Customer can end the subscription at any time by cancelling it or deleting the account.
Tokno uses third-party services for hosting, storage, artificial intelligence, payments, communications, file processing, and analytics. Their availability may affect Tokno. We work to minimize disruptions and restore service when an interruption occurs.
Our collection and processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By creating or managing a Student account, the Customer confirms that they are authorized to provide the Student's information to Tokno.
Tokno uses essential cookies for sessions, authentication, security, language, and consent preferences. Optional analytics and marketing cookies require consent. Our Privacy Policy explains our cookies, server-side analytics, recipients, and preference controls.
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have 14 days from the day the subscription is concluded to withdraw from it, without giving a reason.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement before the 14 days end at hello@tokno.com. You may use the standard withdrawal form, but you do not have to. We refund you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after we receive your notice, using the payment method you paid with.
Tokno is available to you as soon as you subscribe. By subscribing you ask us to begin during the withdrawal period, and if you then withdraw you pay a proportionate amount for the part of the billing period in which the service was available to you.
The 30-day satisfaction guarantee in section 12 is a separate, more generous promise from us. It does not limit or replace this statutory right.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tokno AB is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Tokno or disruptions caused by third-party services. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Tokno may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. Responses generated by artificial intelligence may be inaccurate or inappropriate. Customers and Students should evaluate responses and must not treat Tokno as a substitute for professional advice. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. This choice does not deprive a Customer of mandatory consumer protections in their country of residence. Disputes will be resolved by a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will notify Customers of significant changes by email or through the service before they take effect where required.
